Frequently Asked Questions

What Do Peonies Symbolize?

Peonies symbolize prosperity, romance, honor, and good fortune. Their lush petals and captivating fragrance have made them a symbol of beauty and elegance in art, literature, and cultural traditions for over a thousand years.

How Long Does Delivery Take for Peonies?

Delivery times for Peonies depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Venus et Fleur offers standard, expedited, and international delivery options to ensure your luxurious floral arrangements arrive fresh and on time.

How Are Eternity Peonies Preserved?

Using a proprietary process, Eternity Peonies are treated with a non-toxic preservation solution that locks in their fresh appearance and fragrance. This process was developed through five years of research to ensure the flowers’ unique, delicate structure is maintained.

How Long Do Eternity Flowers Last?

Eternity® Flowers from Venus et Fleur are real flowers that last a year. With proper care, their preserved petals retain their softness and beauty long after traditional flowers would have faded.

Can you get peonies in the fall?

Yes. Fresh peony season lasts about eight weeks in late spring, so fresh peonies are out of season in the fall. Preserved peonies are harvested at peak bloom during that spring window, which makes them available year-round, including October and November. Venus et Fleur Eternity® Peonies are picked at peak bloom by botanical experts at our partner farms in Japan and last a year.

What colors are in the fall flower collection?

Three: burgundy, blackberry, and Cerise Noir. Burgundy is a rich, wine-toned red. Blackberry is a saturated berry with undertones of plum and violet. Cerise Noir is a deep wine that reads almost black in low light, our first dark Eternity® Peony. The collection is styled in porcelain, marble, and black porcelain vessels.

Are preserved flowers real flowers?

Yes. Every Eternity® Bloom is a real flower, hand-picked at peak bloom by botanical experts at our partner farms in South America and Asia, then preserved to last a year, capturing the moment it was most beautiful.

Do preserved flowers need water or sunlight?

No. Our Eternity® Blooms need neither. Keep the arrangement out of direct sunlight and away from humidity and heat sources such as fireplaces, never water it, and dust the petals gently if needed. That is the full care routine for the year.
