Over Eight Years In Perfecting
Eight Years
Of Innovation
Since the very beginning, Venus et Fleur had a dream: to bring preserved hydrangeas to market. The hydrangea is notoriously difficult to preserve, and our founders partnered closely with our farms in Ecuador to innovate against it, testing bloom varietals, harvest windows, and preservation formulas until they found the exact combination that lets a real hydrangea hold its color, shape, and fullness for a full year. In 2022, we finally brought it to market.
We haven't stopped perfecting this bloom. We've introduced new colorways and evolved a single stem into a full luxury category led by our best-selling Hydrangea & Roses.
Each Eternity® Hydrangea is a real, living flower and rare in nature, captured at the height of its color and held there, in full bloom, for an entire year.
Our Flower Farms
Grown With
Intention
Ecuador has been our partner in hydrangea innovation from the beginning, and today grows the vast majority of our blooms. There, high altitude, mineral-rich soil, and a near-perfect equatorial climate produce some of the fullest, most richly colored hydrangeas in the world.
Every stem is handpicked at peak bloom by growers who have spent generations perfecting the craft, then set aside so a single season's bloom can become an everlasting one.
More than 70% of our Ecuador partner farms are women-led, a commitment to empowerment and social sustainability grown into the work at every level.
The Preservation Process
The Science
Of Preservation
Within hours of harvest, each bloom enters our proprietary preservation process: a closely guarded method, refined over eight years, that replaces the flower's natural moisture while locking in its color, texture, and fullness.
The result is a real hydrangea that looks and feels freshly cut, true to its color for a full year.
