Introducing: Baby
There is a particular kind of quiet that arrives with a new baby. The pause before the sleepless nights. The hush of a nursery not yet lived-in. The flowers that show up on the doorstep before anyone has had the time, or the energy, to say thank you.
We have made flowers for nearly every occasion life offers — birthdays, weddings, sympathy, the ordinary Tuesday that deserved something extraordinary. This particular moment, somehow, we had never made properly our own.
Until now. Introducing LE PETIT VEF, our first-ever Baby Collection.
Why We Made This
A new baby is one of the only occasions where the gift is expected to outlast the gesture. Parents are exhausted. Nurseries are still being arranged. Fresh flowers, however well-intentioned, ask for something no new parent has to give in those first weeks: attention. Water changes. Trimmed stems. A vase moved out of the sun.
Our Eternity® Roses ask for none of it. They arrive in full bloom and stay that way for up to a year — long past the shower, long past the sleepless fourth trimester, long enough to still be sitting on the nursery shelf when that baby takes their first steps. It felt like the most obvious collection we hadn't made yet.
The Print
LE PETIT VEF is housed in two exclusive hand-illustrated prints, created only for this collection: Toile Rose and Toile Bleue. We chose toile deliberately. It is one of the oldest patterns in the nursery tradition — the print on a grandmother's quilt, the wallpaper in a house that's been in the family for generations — and we wanted this collection to feel less like a trend and more like an heirloom. Something a parent keeps, not something that gets phased out after a season.
Why Now
Because the people in our own lives kept asking for it. Because "congratulations" deserves better than a generic bouquet from the hospital gift shop. And because a gift that lasts a year is, quietly, one of the more meaningful things you can hand a new parent — proof that someone thought about the months ahead, not just the day of.
The collection spans four vessels in both prints — from the Le Mini Round, a keepsake-sized favor, up to the Large Le Plein, our most commanding statement piece, in Toile Rose and Toile Bleue.
